The failed assassination attempt that occurred on Saturday, July 13, 2024,  on the former U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s life stirred emotional memories for Tuskegee’s Johnny Ford during my interview with him Monday. “I was present when Sirhan Sirhan killed Bobby Kennedy on June 6, 1968,” Ford recalled. “It was a sad time for our Nation, and devastating to me personally because he was a close friend of mine.
