On March 8th, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m., two homes located on Tye Avenue in Union Springs were subjected to gunfire, resulting in multiple bullet holes in the homes. According to Joe Davis, one of the residents, several bullets penetrated the walls and entered various rooms in the homes.
Beginning March 1, 2023, the Bullock County Office of Judge of Probate began Online Tag Renewals. Tag renewal notices will be mailed out to the registrant on the last working day of each month.
