Local leaders from Bullock County gathered with Senator Billy Beasley, Representative Berry Forte, and the Mid-South RC&D Council to celebrate positive changes brought to the area.

MACON COUNTY – On Sunday, Nov. 10, law enforcement officers found Jaquez Myrick, 25, of Montgomery, in possession of a handgun with a machine gun conversion device. Myrick was found leaving the scene of the shooting that occurred on the campus of Tuskegee University.
Did you know that the Bullock County Humane Society has royalty residing within it? Two Queens to be exact! Queen has been in the shelter the longest of any other pup, three years to be exact. Queen (2) has been in the shelter for almost two years. Queen is the epitome of royalty.
