The American Legion Post 2016 hosted its first Veterans Town Hall on April 20 for military veterans and their family members who live in and around Bullock County.

Beth High of Perote, AL and Joyce Perrin of Union Springs traveled to Opelika, AL to attend the Garden Club of Alabama, Inc. Annual Convention on Monday, April 15. High and Perrin are lifetime members of the Garden Club of Alabama (GCA).
