Donate to the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society (ACS) Relay for Life continues to raise money to benefit the American Cancer Society and those that they serve. Bullock County recently held a pinwheel fundraiser to benefit ACS, where pinwheels were purchased in honor or in memory of loved ones who have fought the battle against cancer. Names were placed on the pinwheels and were read from the stage during the Chunnenuggee Fair. If you would like to make a donation to the American Cancer Society, you may drop it off at Conecuh Springs Christian School or Jinks, Crow, and Dickson.

Bullock County Humane Society Pet of the Week

Hello, my name is Rowdy! The people at the Bullock County Humane Society have been so nice. They found me on the streets and took me in. I am a 2 year old lab mix who loves to give snuggles. I walk well on a leash and I enjoy being around the other dogs and cats at the shelter. I am up to date on my shots. The workers say I am going to be neutered so that I won’t be able to father any babies and I am heartworm negative. I love to run and play.
