Bullock County schools celebrated Thanksgiving with an early meal on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Each public school served a rendition of Thanksgiving favorites. The students ate turkey with brown gravy and dressing, turnip greens, mashed sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, baked apple slices, and cranberry sauce. Their meals were accompanied by their choice of milk or juice and for dessert a miniature pumpkin pie.
