The Union Springs Carnegie Library had a very special guest last week. Congressman Shomari Figures was accompanied by Mayor Roderick Clark on Wednesday, March 19, for a tour of one of only two Carnegie Libraries in the State of Alabama.
Figures and his entourage were greeted by Librarian Beverly “Honey” Grant, who walked them through the ins and outs of the library. She told them about all of her improvements since she has taken over and her plans for the library’s future.
