Hello, my name is Sherri and I’m 17 months old. I have lived at the shelter since I was about 8 months old! The people here are really nice and take very good care of me and the other animals here.

A Fire Alert remains in effect across the state. The Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC) issued the burn restriction on September 22 because of the current drought situation, continued lack of precipitation, and high probability of fuel ignition.
The Bullock County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing elderly person, Eddie Lee Thomas, 77 of Midway, Alabama, located in Bullock County.
