On the afternoon of Thursday, April 3, as local librarian Beverly “Honey” Grant (left) and local store owner Joyce Perrin (not pictured) were conversing, they heard a loud thud as a black pick-up truck drove by them.
Fluffy is one of three kittens found hiding in the pine straw bales at the local feed store. Fluffy was quite small at the time and required bottle feeding until the Bullock County Humane Society staff were able to finally catch her momma.
April 4: Free appreciation lunch for Bullock County First Responders sponsored by The American Legion Bell, Cook, Hopkins Auxiliary Unit #337, Post 2016, and VFW 5890 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Union Springs Associated Grocery (AG).
