A new Yield to Pedestrians traffic sign has been placed in the pedestrian crosswalk located in front of the Courthouse. State Law required all traffic to yield to pedestrians. According to the Union Springs Police Department the speed limit downtown Prairie Street is 15 MPH.
The Tourism Council of Bullock County held its Annual Meeting and Luncheon on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church of Union Springs. Midge Putnam, Executive Director, welcomed all in attendance. The invocation was given by Rev. Gene Nelson.
