April marked Child Abuse Prevention Month across Alabama, and in Bullock County, community members joined together in a series of activities aimed at raising awareness and supporting the protection of children.

At the Bullock County Humane Society, one special dog has been patiently waiting far longer than most for a second chance. Zachary, a friendly and affectionate dog, has spent 1,166 days living in a kennel after arriving at the shelter on February 14, 2023.
To conclude their unit on mammals and reptiles, the first and second grade classes of Conecuh Springs Christian School visited the Montgomery Zoo.
