Commissioner John McGowan, spokesperson for the Annual Ka’Shaad Hurts Memorial Scholarship, along with Kristy Hurts, Ka’Shaad’s aunt, presented scholarships and commemorative plaques to deserving students from South Highlands Middle School and Bullock County High School.
