Bullock County Humane Society Pet of the Week

Mallie and Effie are a mother and daughter pair that were discarded at the doorsteps of the Bullock County Humane Society when their owners no longer needed them. Effie is mostly white with a few patches of gray and has light colored eyes, while Mallie is a brown eyed, gray and white, 3 year old, female pitbull who has been overbred, so much so that she had a vaginal prolapse that needed immediate medical attention. She is healed now, spayed, up to date on all of her shots, and heartworm negative.

Bullock County Humane Society Pet of the Week

Hello! My name is Dutchess and I am so thankful to the Bullock County Humane Society for taking me off of the streets. I was hurt very badly by the people that had me before I came here. I don’t care for children but I love to get snuggles and would protect any human that I feel comfortable with. I would be a great companion for a single lady or older gentleman. I get along with other dogs but I’m not fond of cats. I am not spayed but I will be prior to being adopted. I love to play, run, and get lots of snuggle time. I’m still young so I plan on being around for a long time.
