The Union Springs Police Department continued its commitment to serving and protecting the community during the past week, responding to several incidents and accidents throughout the city.
According to the department's weekly activity report, Sgt. Cummings handled one incident report and investigated one private property accident. Captain Gary Lewis responded to one incident/offense (I/O) report and one traffic accident.
Officer Adamson handled one incident report, while Officer Xavier Harris responded to one accident and one incident/offense report. Officer Penn reported no activity for the week.
Chief Johnny L. Potts III continues to encourage residents to remain vigilant and work with law enforcement to help keep Union Springs safe.

The Union Springs Police Department reminds citizens that reporting suspicious activity is an important part of helping officers prevent crime and protect the community.
