The Red Door Theatre appropriately closed its 20th Year with a family production, Sanders Family Christmas. Written by Connie Ray, conceived by Alan Baily with musical arrangements by John Foley and Gary Fagin and presented with special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, the show had more than two dozen Christmas carols, many of them vintage hymns which kept the audience laughing, clapping and singing along.

The celebration of his career took place on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Extension Office in Bullock County at the Richard B. Stone Complex.

On Friday, December 15, 2023, New Direction Child Care Facility’s children were blessed by a Good Samaritan, Mrs. Narshiki Rogers. She graced the children with her presence and gifted each child something. “We would like to take this time to thank Mrs. Rogers for being a blessing to the New Direction Child Care Facility Family! The Twentieth Century Book Club met on Tuesday, Dec 12, 2023 at the home of Kate Smoker. Members brought a favorite children’s book to discuss. The books were given to the Bullock County Department of Human Resources to be gifted to local children. In a heartwarming celebration of a life well-lived, Margaret McGowan Jernigan's 75th birthday at the Ponderosa Inn became a joyous gathering of family and friends. The venue was abuzz with laughter and love as all of Margaret's children, grandchildren, and even her great-granddaughter joined in the festivities. The guest list extended to include her mom, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of cherished family and friends.
