Hatcher graduates from AUM

Fredrina Monet Hatcher graduated, in the morning ceremony, from Auburn University in Montgomery on Saturday, December 14. Hatcher received her Bachelor of Business degree in Information Systems.

Hatcher is currently looking for a career in cybersecurity or network design and does have plans to go back to college in the future to study for her master’s degree in business.

CAMO Kids travel to Callaway Gardens’ Fantasy in Lights

On the afternoon of Sunday, December 22, twenty-eight children ages 4-19 and twelve mentors loaded a bus and began their trip to Callaway Gardens’ Fantasy in Lights. A quick detour to Texas Roadhouse for an early dinner allowed the group to fellowship and meet new members, plus eat a delicious meal.

Locals gather at Cajun Leprechaun’s Karaoke

On Thursday, December 19, a social gathering convened at Cajun Leprechaun’s Karaoke, hosted by DJ Darryl E. of 94.1 FM, The Big KD Radio Station in Montgomery.

The event featured musical performances by Rev. Daryl Andrews and his niece, Estella Jernigan. Rev. Andrews delivered a moving rendition of a traditional Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You), while Estella captivated the audience with her beautiful performance of Love.

Midway Nutrition donates toys to Bullock County foster children

Midway Nutrition Site’s patrons donated toys and clothes for Christmas to foster children within the Bullock County Department of Human Resources. “We had a fantastic turnout and Juanita Smith with the DHR was really pleased with the donation,” said Jennie Sparks, Manager of the Midway Nutrition Site.
