The evening of Tuesday, May 21 was an eventful one because of a three-car accident in front of the Piggly Wiggly grocery store on Conecuh Avenue at approximately 5:00 p.m.
School is out, but all kids and teens 18 and under can receive two meals a day at no cost in the Bullock County School District. Meals will be served at Union Springs Elementary School to all students registered in the Summer Reading & Math Camp.

Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday in May. This holiday honors the men and women who never came home while serving in the United States military. This year it was held May 27.
This sweet little boy’s name is Po. He is just six months old. When he came into the shelter over a month ago, he was so scared and covered in parasites.
