Bullock County Humane Society pet of the week!

Honey Gray is a sweet, shy, and gentle soul who is waiting for someone to adopt her and make her a part of their family. She has been at an off-site location but has recently returned to the shelter and would like to meet you. She is great with other dogs. She is spayed, and up to date on her shots including her rabies vaccination. She is currently on flea and heartworm prevention. She’s roughly three years old and weighs around 50 pounds.

Bullock County Humane Society pet of the week!

Nanika is one of ten littermates from the “Blackberry Litter” that the shelter received last spring. A kind family found the little ones hiding in their blackberry bushes, and although they searched, were unable to locate the mother. As the kittens came in quite young and still would have been nursing, they had to divy them up with other nursing mother cats. Nanika took to his new “foster momma” right away and made friends with his new litter mates.

Comprehensive Plan: Part 8

By Joyce Perrin

Last week we discovered that the previous plan done in 1996 covered identical subjects with almost identical findings. It was noted that each plan subsequent to the last two plans also follow almost identical findings. This being noted, it is questionable that another expensive plan would generate any new findings and that addressing the current set of goals might be the most economical solution to our current circumstances.
