Over the last month, members of our community have dropped off gently used or new jackets, blankets, warm clothes, and shoes for others who may be in greater need. This event was held on Saturday, December 28 at Adams Pecan, LLC. Angelica Byrd, owner of We Do Care, LLC., conceived the idea and followed through with the help of Kim Graham and Johnny Adams.
Members of the USES BETA Club brought laughter and cheer to customers at AG Grocery in Union Springs, Alabama, as they rang the bell for the Salvation Army this Christmas season. Special thanks to the Bullock County DHR for granting them the opportunity to serve the community during the holidays. Photo submitted.
Meet Walter, who has been in foster care for two years and is desperately searching for his forever home! He is the most agile of kitties and can easily jump up on and scale the smallest of surfaces (stair railings, balconies, window sills, and Christmas trees to name a few). Walter is also good at catching things such as bugs, frogs, lizards, and yes, a couple of baby snakes. While Walter has been allowed to venture outside during the days at the farm where he is being fostered, he is the first one to tell you it’s time to come in early in the evening. Why?
