Carnegie Library celebrates Black History Month and Valentine’s Day with special events

The Union Springs Carnegie Public Library is in full swing for Black History Month and Valentine's Day! This month the library will hold two special readings in honor of Black History Month. On Thursday, Feb. 13 a Black History Month reading will be done by Sandra Richards at 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  On Monday, February 24 a special presentation of Timpie Thrasher- Born 1864- Slave by Mr. and Mrs. Rozell Swanson at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
