This beautiful pup is Henrietta. She is a lovely Black Mouth Cur who has been at the shelter for over five months and is so ready to find her forever home! She is sharing a kennel with another female, so she is dog friendly but can be cat tested. Henrietta is up-to-date on her shots, including a one-year rabies vaccination, and she is on a flea and heartworm preventative.

The failed assassination attempt that occurred on Saturday, July 13, 2024, on the former U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s life stirred emotional memories for Tuskegee’s Johnny Ford during my interview with him Monday. “I was present when Sirhan Sirhan killed Bobby Kennedy on June 6, 1968,” Ford recalled. “It was a sad time for our Nation, and devastating to me personally because he was a close friend of mine.

The Bullock County Art Guild, which normally holds its meetings on the first Thursday of every month, held their July meeting on July 11 because of the July 4th holiday. Ten members were present for this month’s meeting, which was called to order by President Philip Duvic at 12:04 p.m.
The business portion of the meeting included the approval of the minutes from June’s meeting, as well as the Treasurer’s Report, which remains unchanged.
This beautiful lady is Carla. She is a 2 1/2 year old Australian Blue Heeler/Mix, who is a very sweet and affectionate pup. She loves getting out in the play yard to run around and get loved on by the workers at the Bullock County Humane Society. She is as sweet as she can be and was so grateful when the humane society saved her off the streets as a stray with another pup in April 2023.
