While the Bullock County Humane Society has many dogs waiting for loving homes, the shelter also has plenty of cats and kittens available for adoption and rescue. All felines receive veterinary care when they arrive at the shelter. They are given their necessary vaccinations, including a rabies vaccination, flea and tick medications, and all cats are spayed or neutered before adoption.
The cats at the shelter are also worked with daily by shelter staff and volunteers. With a variety of personalities and ages to choose from, there may be a perfect match for almost anyone. Whether you are looking for a cuddly companion to keep you company or a barn or farm cat, the Bullock County Humane Society encourages residents to consider adoption.
The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Appointments may also be scheduled for those interested in meeting one of the shelter’s cats in person. To schedule an appointment, contact the Bullock County Humane Society by phone or text at 334-672-5463 or 334-782-1952. The shelter can also be reached by email at [email protected].
With so many cats waiting for a second chance, the Bullock County Humane Society hopes potential adopters will stop by and find their new feline friend.
