Leo lives away from the shelter with four other shelter dogs and they receive very little attention and time out of their kennels or in the public eye. This very sweet boy loves getting out of his kennel to take in all the smells and run around! He is so ready to have a place to call home, where he can be spoiled and loved for the rest of his life! Leo is neutered and up-to-date on his shots, including a one-year rabies vaccination, and he is on flea and heartworm prevention.

Though a man of few words, his impact was profound and far-reaching. Mr. Harris served as a 4-H Assistant Agent, dedicating his efforts to the growth and development of our youth across local public and private schools.

Graduates of Union Springs Elementary School’s 2023-24 Kindergarten classes taught by Ms. Andrea Surles and Mrs. Adams-King, illustrated and published their very own book entitled, Who’s on the Farm?
In the book, the children tell readers about what animals are on the farm. Each entry is illustrated with the student’s idea of what the animal looks like. The little authors and illustrators also autographed the back of the book.
