On March 14th, the Wehle Nature Center in Midway was filled with fourth grade students from Union Springs Elementary, Conecuh Springs Christian Academy, and Macon East Academy for the 2024 Groundwater Festival hosted by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System/Bullock County Cooperative Extension. This annual event offers an engaging platform for students to delve into hands-on activities centered around water conservation, understanding human impact on water, exploring the water cycle, and fostering a sense of stewardship for our planet.
