Bullock County Humane Society pet of the week!

B.B. Martin may be one of the “newer” kitties at the Bullock County Humane Society, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t already stolen our hearts. B.B. Martin was found as a stray, or possibly abandoned by his past family, as he was already socialized and loves attention. He has been neutered and is up to date on rabies and vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. His coloring is quite lovely as it is a very pale orange, almost creamy, with thick lush fur covering his hefty body. This is not a small kitty! He’s a big boy and full of love!

Spears makes his point - Dream B.I.G.

Willie Spears

In 2010 my running back had a great season: becoming the first thousand-yard rusher in the past ten years. However, Greg did not have the same success academically. As he walked into my office, I could tell he was very emotional. He had failed the graduation test again, and the reality of not graduating brought him to tears. As his coach, I had failed him. As a student-athlete, he had failed himself.
