The Union Springs City Council convened for its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., beginning promptly with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Lt. Gary Lewis. All council members were present, including Mayor Ronald Smith, Councilwoman Tiffany King, Councilman Stan Cooks, Councilwoman Erica Shepherd, Councilman Lynn Jinks III, Councilwoman SaQuania Cooper, and Assistant City Clerk Jasmine Streeter. City Attorney Ashley Mallory was absent due to a family emergency.
