It’s Kitty Education Week, so please pay close attention. By now you have all been reading our posts and know it’s kittens and puppy season here in Bullock County, but do you know how to tell how old that sweet crying baby you found in the bushes, under the house, in the barn, actually is? What we consider “tiny babies” are anything under four weeks of age. These are the kittens that are most critical to be left with their mothers. Preferably, you would want to leave them alone until weaned and eight weeks of age.
