Deputy Gregory Williams graduates from North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy.

On March 17, 2023, Deputy Gregory Williams graduated from the North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy (NCGLEA) in Austell, Georgia. The ten-and-a-half-week NCGELA training curriculum included weapons qualification, emergency vehicle operations, Georgia law, first aid, and defensive tactics. The graduation ceremony was held on the campus of Kennesaw State University, where it was attended by his siblings Debra Craine, Melissa Williams, and Retired CSM Clifford Williams. Deputy Williams is also the brother of Retired Bullock County Chief Deputy Anthony Williams, who recently retired from the Bullock County Sheriff’s Office after 23 years of service.

In 2016, Deputy Williams retired as a Master Sergeant after serving 29 years in the military, eight years in the United States Army, and 21 years as a Department of Military and Veterans Affairs technician. During his time in the military, Deputy Williams completed tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Deputy Williams is the son of the late Annie Bell Williams of Midway, AL, and a 1987 Bullock County High School graduate.

Deputy Williams’ family is so proud of all his accomplishments and making his dream of becoming a member of law enforcement come true. Congratulations from his family.
