The Bullock County Historical Society, in partnership with the Tourism Council and the Chamber of Commerce, will sponsor a “Front Porch Parade” patriotic decorating contest for homes and businesses. The idea for the contest was inspired by Laura Lee Putnam, winner of the 250th American Celebration Essay Contest in May, presenting Conecuh Springs Christian School.
