On Sunday, November 19, 2023, the world lost a valuable treasure. Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter died peacefully in her Plains, Georgia home. She was 96.

The new Family Dollar Dollar Tree store is now open to the public. The store celebrated their grand opening on December 2, 2023. The new store is located at 110 Baskin Street across from Ryan’s Fish and Wings. The store hours are Sunday through Saturday 8 a.m.
