Imagine a work environment representing five generations. We often think of race when discussing diversity; however, diversity is more than race. Our country could use help when dealing with race-related issues, but the same can be said about generational diversity and its issues. At the risk of being stereotypical or putting people in a box, I want to discuss generational diversity using these groups:
• Greatest Generation: Born 1901-1924- My grandmother Helen
• Silent Generation: Born 1925-1945.- My friend Mr. Burch
