Curtis E. Pritchett has secured the Democratic nomination for the Bullock County Commission District 2 seat following the June 16 runoff election.
According to unofficial results, Pritchett received 829 votes to defeat challenger Joseph “Joe” Jernigan, who garnered 409 votes. Pritchett won by a margin of 420 votes, capturing nearly two-thirds of the ballots cast.
