The Union Springs City Council met Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. at City Hall, with Captain Gary Lewis opening the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance included Mayor Ron Smith, Councilmembers SaQuania Cooper, Lynn Jinks, Erica Shepherd, Stan “Chilly” Cooks, and Tiffany King, along with City Clerk/Treasurer Terronda Hooks.
