Bullock County High School went all-in for Prom 2025, celebrating the magical evening with the dazzling theme “Lucky Nights, Vegas Lights.” The gymnasium was transformed into a glittering Vegas-inspired venue decorated in bold shades of red, gold, and black.

The 65th Annual Alabama Democratic Conference (ADC) Convention, a testament to the importance of local engagement, commenced on Friday, April 25th. The welcoming reception at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center was not just an event, but a platform for the active participation of Democrats from Bullock County and across the state.

On the evening of Thursday, April 24, Union Springs Police Department officers Corporal Cummings and Sergeant Smith responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Conecuh Avenue East and Peachburg Road, in front of the Sunoco gas station.
Silver is a young lab mix who is very sweet and dog friendly. He is neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations including his rabies shot. He is currently on a flea and heartworm preventative. Silver would love to have another dog to run and play with. On Friday, April 25, the Midway Nutrition Site celebrated two special birthdays for the month of April—those of site managers Jennie Sparks and Willie Patterson.
In addition to the birthday festivities, Sparks gave an informative presentation in recognition of Minority Health Month. As a member of the UAB health team focused on cancer prevention, she shared vital information about the importance of early detection and how it can save lives.
