Union Springs and Bullock County have experienced a heartbreaking series of deaths attributed to gun violence in recent years. The community continues to mourn the loss of loved ones, with the most recent being Olajuwon Dixson, who was shot following an evening of celebration with his wife. Dixson was placed in intensive care following the shooting but died several days later from his injuries.
