Union Springs – On Thursday, January 29, U.S. Representative Shomari C. Figures (AL-02) joined state and local officials and hundreds of community members at the first-ever Bullock County Resource Summit at Bullock County High School. The event, which was hosted by the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs, was created to provide free food, career resources, public health information, winter preparedness tools, and direct federal and state casework assistance to residents of Alabama’s 2nd District.
