The Union Springs City Council met on Monday, May 4, 2026, beginning promptly at 6 p.m., with all council members present, including Mayor Ron Smith, Councilwoman Tiffany King, Councilman Stanley Cooks, Councilwoman Erica Shepherd, Councilman Lynn Jinks, Councilwoman SaQuania Cooper, and City Clerk/Treasurer Terronda Hooks.
