February is Black History Month and in Alabama, it is a time of reflection, education, and celebration of the rich contributions of African Americans to the state's history and culture. As a state deeply intertwined with the Civil Rights Movement, Alabama plays a significant role in honoring Black heritage and the ongoing struggle for equality.
