Union Springs Carnegie Library welcomes new librarian

The Union Springs Carnegie Library was left to run without a librarian for five months, when Librarian Frances Brown passed away unexpectedly in March of this year. Board members interviewed many candidates for her replacement. As of August 12, after interviewing with the board members and getting the approval of Mayor Rodrick Clark, the Board has agreed to hire Beverly Grant as the new librarian.
