As New Year’s celebrations approach, many families look forward to ringing in the new year with fireworks, parties, and loud festivities. While these traditions are exciting for people, they can be overwhelming—and even dangerous—for pets. The Bullock County Humane Society strongly encourages keeping all animals indoors during New Year’s celebrations to protect them from anxiety, injury, and the risk of becoming lost.
