Early-morning wreck turns deadly on U.S. 82

A 46-year-old Lauderhill, Florida, woman was killed, and another passenger was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, August 29, in Barbour County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash occurred at approximately 4:23 a.m. on U.S. 82 near the 221-mile marker, about seven miles east of Midway.
