U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), as a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, locked in $3 million for the City of Union Springs in the Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. This congressionally directed spending would enable the Union Springs Board of Utilities to fund substantial improvements for its water system.
