A tragic accident in a Bullock County work zone claimed the life of a longtime Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) employee on Thursday, May 28. According to ALDOT officials, Amad R. Jackson, 48, was performing routine maintenance duties along Alabama State Route 51 when he was struck by a dump truck. Jackson sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to those injuries.
