Heirs Property Watch Parties

Did you know we have heirs’ property right here in Bullock County? It's an important topic for many families, especially families with ancestral land that has been passed down for generations. Bullock County Humane Society Pet of the Week

Meet “Trinity,” our smallest and youngest available kitty for adoption! Trinity has not been with us too long, but she has been spayed, has gotten her rabies vaccine and first set of three FVRCP shots. Trinity has a striking resemblance to the African Black Footed Cat, a tiny yet mighty hunter with beautiful markings. While she does like the prowl, she is not a wild beast and would be best suited to a home, where she could have some supervised outside playtime and a soft bed to curl up in at night.

Several House Fires in Bullock County have occurred since January

By Felicia Farnsworth

Since the beginning of the year there have been five house fires and one apartment fire in Union Springs and Bullock County. The first house fire was the Hernandez family, who lost everything in an early morning fire on a very cold January morning. They are doing well now and have been able to re-establish a home for their family. They are beyond grateful for the outpour of love they received from the community. A more recent house fire is that of the Williams family.
