On Sunday, July 13, 2025, Bullock County Commissioner Solomon Marlow, Jr., presented a special award to Shirley Reynolds in recognition of her outstanding service to the community. The presentation took place during the morning service at Second Baptist Church in the Greenwood/Highlog community of Fitzpatrick, Alabama.

Reynolds was honored with a beautifully inscribed clock plaque that read:
