I am writing this with a heavy heart, burdened by the tragic loss of my son, LeRon Holmes, a loving father of two young boys, ages five and nine. On Friday, January 10, LeRon’s life was senselessly taken in Tuskegee, Alabama. This devastating act of violence has forever changed our family, leaving us to grapple with unimaginable pain while trying to find strength for his two sons who are now left without their father.
