The Annual Cruising to Clothe a Child charity event, which directly benefits foster children in Bullock County, is set to return on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in downtown Union Springs, Alabama. This family-friendly event brings the community together for a great cause while promoting recruitment, community engagement, and fundraising to support local foster children.

The gymnasium at Conecuh Springs Christian School was buzzing with excitement on Friday, December 12, as the Eagles celebrated their annual Homecoming event. The evening featured a double-header basketball matchup against the Cahawba Christian Chargers, with both junior high and varsity boys taking to the court.

The Union Springs City Council met on January 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the basement of the Bullock County Courthouse to conduct the city’s first council meeting of the new year.
During the Union Springs City Council meeting January 5, Marcus “Rudy” Cooper was recognized for over 30 years of coaching and mentoring youth in Bullock County. The Bullock County Historical Society will commemorate its 50th anniversary on Sunday, January 11, at 2 PM. The event will take place at the Josephine Arts Center and will pay tribute to the Society’s enduring dedication to safeguarding Bullock County’s rich historical heritage.

Over the first weekend of the new year, Children and Mentors Outdoors (CAMO Kids) provided a hands-on outdoor learning experience for local youth through a guided deer hunt held in Bullock County. The event offered a unique opportunity for young participants to learn valuable life skills while connecting with nature.
